Long Beach Kids Connection is requesting your participation in the 3^rd annual "Taste of the Coast" event. This event is part of the Long Beach Sea Festival, with proceeds going to provide help and support for children in need in the Greater Long Beach area. Kids Connection is an all volunteer non-profit corporation formed in 2007 by concerned Long Beach citizens.

Taste of the Coast will be held on August 1, 2010 from 3-7pm at the Belmont Memorial Pier in Long Beach, featuring tastes from over thirty restaurants, live bands, children’s activities, and more. Long Beach Kids Connection will provide the booths, paper goods, electrical power (if needed). Participating restaurants will provide samples of their favorite dish or dishes for 500 guests.

We will advertise your establishment as part of the Sea Festival "Taste of the Coast" event. Participating restaurants will also be listed on the 3,000 invitations that will be sent. Your restaurant name will be included in the Taste of the Coast advertising, including the Grunion Gazette, Press Telegram, Long Beach Post and others.

Last year Taste of the Coast raised over $30,000 which went to local Long Beach non-profits helping children including Children Today and Long Beach Day Nursery. We are excited about this wonderful event to raise funds to help Long Beach children in need. Last year we had over 500 participants and we are expecting a larger crowd this year. This is a great opportunity to help children in need and to promote your business. So please join us at the Belmont Memorial Pier on August 1, 2010 and enjoy a great day of Sun & Fun while helping the children of Long Beach.
